Actor and comedian Bill Cosby will not be paroled this year because he reportedly refused to participate in sex offender programs during his time in state prison.
He is currently serving a 3 to 10-year prison term at SCI Phoenix in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. From the very beginning, Cosby, who is 83-years old, has refused the treatment program and also continues to deny any wrongdoing.
His publicist called the decision "appalling" and says that Cosby "vehemently proclaims his innocence."
This is the first time that he has been eligible for parole since his 2018 conviction.
